KULeuven Course EMC

Electromagnetic Compatibility: Mysteries unraveled

Invitation:

This course is open to all people with an interest in electronics and EMC or people who have been confronted with EMC issues.
Profound knowledge is not necessary but a basic knowledge in electronics is desirable.

Info:

The research group ReMI (Reliability in Mechatronics and ICT) organizes a course on the basics of electromagnetic compatibility.

Solving Electromagnetic compatibility problems is still seen as “black magic” by engineers involved in the design process of electronic products.

Nevertheless, many problems can be avoided and/or solved when a couple of basic principles are understood and used.

In this course Prof. Davy Pissoort teaches engineers who are regularly confronted to EMC problems how to use these basic principles and this without any complex mathematics nor theories. The emphasis of this course is on the practical application of these basic principles.
